Founder and Head Veterinarian Surgeon
Dr Brenda Poh graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2012. After graduation, she worked in a few busy veterinary clinics in Singapore including an emergency centre. Growing up, the only pets which she was allowed to have were terrapins. This fanned her desire to become a veterinarian so that she can be surrounded by animals and be able to keep them in their best health.
She gained much experience in treating pocket pets like rabbits, guinea pigs etc at the first clinic she worked at. It was also here that she discovered that cats are not all that scary and filled with just hisses and claws. This brought her to adopt her first cat in 2018, which is a little devil at clinics but the sweetest boy at home.
Her special interests are in ultrasonography and ophthalmology and are constantly seeking ways to improve her knowledge and skills in these areas. In a bid to seek more available treatments for animals, she completed a small animal acupuncture course by Chi Institute (Korea and China) in 2019. Currently, she is in the midst of doing a small animal Traditional Chinese Medicine course also by Chi Institute.
